Our client is a marketing research agency that provides its clients with value added consultancy and business advice; not just data. Based in Toronto - one of the World's most culturally diverse cities with close links to Europe as well as the right time-zones for the US – they are well placed for international as well as domestic work.
Their growth has created an opening for a Research Manager specialising in tracking research who would work closely with senior executives on two ongoing tracking studies.
The ideal candidate would have 3 to 4 years tracking experience, preferably gained from working in a market research agency. Experience working with CPG data is required. The position requires a dynamic individual with strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities include:
· Ability to run projects with senior exec involvement.
· Being responsive and anticipating client needs/requests
· Understand, manage and promote delivery to client expectations
· Team player and willing to put in extra hours as required
· Understanding of data and statistical analysis
· Day to day management of projects, including checking questionnaires, liaising with the field and data processing team
· Responding to client queries, ensuring data integrity, questioning the data and producing error free reports
· Use advanced knowledge of survey design and deliverable specs to provide insight into reporting plans
· Demonstrate solid understanding of sampling and weighting. Ability to specify editing, weighting, and statistical analysis needs
· Share learnings from projects. Promote team spirit and group success, encourage others to accomplish team and individual goals
· Demonstrate high level of personal accountability and ownership of client deliverables
